Baarland in Zeeland, the Netherlands, is set to welcome visitors following a beach nourishment programme undertaken earlier this month.

Taking place every four years, around 20,000 mᶟ of sand was used from the Western Scheldt to restore the beach.

DEME’s trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Scheldt River, which regularly performs maintenance dredging work along the Western Scheldt, carried out the rainbowing works.
