Addu City’s land reclamation plan VIDEO
The Government of Maldives has just released a video named ‘Addu City’s Land Reclamation Plan’.

Under this project, a total of 228 hectares of land will be added to Addu City.
Moreover, 8.3 hectares of 3 islands and 5 hectares of 2 islands will be dedicated to tourism development.
Under the program – undertaken by the Dutch giant Van Oord – a total of 194.3 hectares of land will be reclaimed along the coasts of the islands Hithadhoo and Maradhoo/Maradhoo-Feydhoo.
In addition, three new islands will be created in the city’s lagoon.
