Dutra Group: Sacramento River project in full swing

The Dutra Group has just released the latest update on the Sacramento River project.

“Our Delta Operations Team is facilitating Contract 2 of the Sacramento River Erosion Contracts for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which is part of the larger American River Common Features Program,” said Dutra.

“After nearly one month into the in-water work window, our team has exceeded all expectations for production while maintaining the highest standard of safety.”

The Sacramento River Erosion Contracts (SRC) are a series of contracts that are part of the ARCF project.

The SRC contracts are designed to address erosion and levee failure risk to the Sacramento River east levee. This particular contract will address erosion and levee failure risk to the Sacramento River east levee between the Pocket-Greenhaven neighborhood and the confluence of the Sacramento and American Rivers.

The contract includes the placement of nearly 500,000 tons of rock revetment from the San Rafael Rock Quarry, the construction of a new levee sections, and the creation of environmental wetland & riparian habitat.
