Nueces shoreline protection VIDEO UPDATE

The Nueces Shoreline Protection Project is rocking along, the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program said.

Once completed, this breakwater jetty structure will serve to block wind-driven currents that eroding the shoreline and marsh.

Absorbing the wave energy will help the marsh recover and provide valuable habitat for a variety of coastal species.
