The Amy Lynn D tug crew with Jacob Joseph C barge and Liebherr LH120 crane operators, completed a dredging project to increase water depths at a ship loading facility.

The dredge work included removal of sediment which had accumulated over time from previous storm events, and removal of oversize armour stone (up to 20 MT) that resulted from a failing shoreline.

The GPS equipped LH120, utilized it’s 25’ extension to dredge to 33’ below current water levels. Dive teams were utilized to identify the larger armour stones.

All removed materials were unloaded at the work site for proper disposal by the project owner.
