Van Oord acquires BAM subsidiaries in Singapore and Indonesia

BAM Infraconsult BV (BAM’s civil engineering consultant in the Netherlands) has reached an agreement to transfer its subsidiaries Delta Marine Consultants Singapore and Delta Marine Consultants Indonesia to Van Oord.

Together, the two offices employ approximately 40 staff and will continue their activities as Delta Marine Consultants Singapore and Delta Marine Consultants Indonesia, respectively.

Delta Marine Consultants’ main office in the Netherlands will continue its consultancy activities as DMC.

The Board of BAM Infra Nederland thanked the colleagues in Singapore and Indonesia for their hard work and contribution for many decades. “We are pleased that these teams can continue their meaningful role in maritime engineering projects.”

The transaction is in line with BAM’s strategy ‘Building a sustainable tomorrow’, which focuses on the markets in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Ireland.
