The latest update on Spoilbank Marina available

Pilbara Ports released the latest Spoilbank Marina project update today.

According to the announcement:

• The bulk of the work is complete on the jetty, boat ramp and pens – with just the finer finishing touches left to go,

• The breakwaters are nearing completion,

• Work has started on the concrete retaining walls,

• Construction of the public amenities building and carpark is progressing well.

The Spoilbank Marina in Port Hedland is still an active construction site and not yet open to the community, said Pilbara Ports.

The $187.5 million Spoilbank Marina project is a key election commitment from the WA Labor Government, and is funded by the State Government, Town of Port Hedland, and BHP.
