No operations will take place over Easter weekend (Good Friday to Easter Monday) for both dredging and embankment repairs.

According to the update, pile installation for repairs are now completed, reducing noise in the area.

Also, the dredging work will resumes from Truscott’s bridge to Whalesborough on April 2.

Embankment repair work continues from April 3, within fenced-off area, with no encroachment into the canal,” they said.

The scheme has received Protected Sites Assent from Natural England and the Environment Agency.
