Marotechniek completes full cutter suction dredger retrofit

Marotechniek B.V. completed a full cutter suction dredger retrofit for its customer in Germany recently.

“Cutter dredge has been fitted with a complete new electrical control system and is equipped with our Advanced Dredge Control System which is linked to the DGPS system of our partner SPE Dredging Solutions from Hamburg,” said Rob Molenaar, the Marotechniek owner.

The dredge control system features an X-mass tree combined with an automatic swing based on GPS location.

Also, Marotechniek offers stock of dredging related instrumentation, such as:

• Analog pressure transducers, relative and absolute,
• Inclinometers -60⁰ to +90⁰ in a stainless steel IP68 housing and fitted with EMC cable gland,
• Doppler speedometers,
• Analog joysticks with center and direction contacts,
• Analog crossbow meters,
• Brake resistors,
• Non-nuclear concentration measurement.
