East Hidd Land Reclamation Project Starts Soon (Bahrain)

The first phase of land reclamation for the East Hidd Housing Project worth BD24.4 million was marked yesterday by signing an agreement.

Minister Basem Al Hamer signed the respective agreement with Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Corporation chief executive Jonathan Berger and Nass Constructions chief executive Ghazi Abdulla Nass.

The project is perceived as part of a scheme dedicated to building modern cities along with Northern and East Sitra ones.

All related activities will cover 227 hectares and contribute to finding new solutions for housing issues.
