The Netherlands: “New Frontiers, New Impressions” Opens

The Port of Rotterdam and the SKVR Free Academy opened on March 4 the exhibition “New frontiers, new impressions” in FutureLand.

The exhibition shows the results of a drawing and painting competition organized in the summer of 2011, at the newly constructed Maasvlakte 2. All participating artists and amateur painters were inspired by one of the major themes from art history, “The Landscape”.

Names of five participants, the winners, were announced on Sunday.

The exhibition, supported by Rotterdam Municipal and Maritime Museum, will close on May 29.
