Orion Marine Announces Contract Award With Army Corps

Orion Marine Group, Inc., a leading heavy civil marine contractor serving the infrastructure sector, today announced the award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (“IDIQ”) contract with the Mobile District of the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Orion Marine Group will be on call to perform various dredging projects in both coastal and upriver locations within the Mobile District of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The value of the contract is dependent on the amount of specific work the Company is requested to perform under the contract, which is not to exceed $50 million. Projects may occur from time to time throughout the duration of the 14 month contract. However, the Company does not expect any potential projects to begin until at least the second half of 2012.

Due to the nature of the IDIQ contract, the Company is not guaranteed any projects and individual projects will be reflected in backlog as they are awarded throughout the duration of the contract.
