Greece: Plan for Thessaloniki Harbour Development Unveiled

Egnatia Odos A.E.GR has announced tender for the harbour construction works at the Thessaloniki area.

This plan includes construction works on the expansion of the windward jetty by about 201 feet (an inner bearing platform of artificial blocks of concrete and shielded from external bearing type artificial boulders) in the same direction as the existing station, construction of concrete stairways, installation of equipment on platform (bollards, mooring rings and vertical scales) incorporating of water and electricity networks across the length of the extension and transfer of the existing navigation lighting.

The project also includes dredging, rock filling, concreting, construction and installation of artificial boulders, concrete, supply and installation of technical parts.

The value of this project is 9,982,759 EUR, and the project period is 30 months from the date of contract award.

The deadline for requests for documents is May 30, 2012, and deadline for the tender is June 5, 2012.
