GLDD wins $16.1M Venice TSHD contract

Great Lakes Dredge and Dock (GLDD) from Houston, Texas, has won a $16.1 million firm-fixed-price contract for one fully crewed and equipped self-propelled trailing suction type hopper (TSHD) for a regional dredging program.

The amount of this action is $16,097,425, with a total cumulative face value of $16,460,725, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) said.

Bids for this contract were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed in Venice, Louisiana, with an estimated completion date of July 11, 2027.

“Fiscal 2026 civil operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $16,097,425 were obligated at the time of the award,” DoD said.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is the contracting activity.
