USACE Invites Bids for Oakland Dredging Project (USA)

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Oakland Inner & Outer Harbors & Entrance Channel maintenance dredging project, Alameda County, California.

The work consists of maintenance dredging of the Oakland Inner & Outer Harbors & Entrance Channel of up to 574,000 cubic yards of material to provide an authorized project depth of -50 feet plus 1 foot allowable paid over-depth.

Dredged material excavated from the Oakland Inner & Outer Harbors & Entrance Channel shall be transported and disposed at the Ocean Disposal Site, SF-DODS.

All proposals that offer upland placement may also include 200,000 cubic yards of the total 574,000 cubic yards, for disposal at the SF-11 site near Alcatraz Island.

All dredging, material transportation and material placement shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable contract clauses.

Estimated cost of this project is about $10 million.
