USA: Officials to Discuss Mason Inlet Dredging Plan

New Hanover County commissioners will meet today to discuss the Mason Inlet dredging project because the County and the Army Corps of Engineers are beginning a new round of dredging.

According to charlotteobserver.com, the Corps say dredging can occur from November to March, and the costs are expected to be around $2 million.

The Mason Inlet is located between Figure Eight Island and Wrightsville Beach.
