The Netherlands: Harlaam Dredging Plan Unveiled

Provincie Noord-Holland has announced plans for the dredging project at the Harlaam area.

This contract will cover the following:

– Dredging Lot 1: To achieve excavation profiles to sufficient depth with reference to the described design profile;

– Dredging lot 2: To achieve excavation profiles to sufficient depth with reference to the described design profile.

– Shore protection lot 3: To replace bank protection (wooden and steel sheet piling) and due (overdue) maintenance;

– Shore protection lot 4: To replace bank protection (wooden and steel sheet piling) and due (overdue) maintenance;

– Explosives lot 5: In the case of the unexpected discovery of explosives, to carry out work by an NGE-certified subcontractor to safely remove any items.

The deadline for this tender is November 27, 2012.
