Marine Park Dredging About to Begin (Canada)

The long awaited dredging program at the Marine Park channel should commence in a couple of days.

This project includes dredging of the mentioned area to a depth of 1.78 metres. The dredged material will be placed onshore, reports chathamdailynews.ca.

The municipality of Chatham-Kent will cover the cost of this project, together with Dick Peever, who leases the marina from the municipality.

The channel, heavily used during whole year, was last dredged in 2002.
