Thornbury Harbor Dredging Set for April

Thornbury harbor will receive an emergency dredging program early this spring, reports simcoe.com.

The cost of this dredging project will be somewhere between $200,000 and $270,000, and will be paid by debt financing.

The Thornbury harbor dredging work is scheduled to commence in April and to be wrapped up in May.

According to simcoe.com, Councillor Bob Gamble was opposed to the dredging plan this year, saying he didn’t want to add the debt to the harbour’s books.
