VIDEO: Jupiter Inlet Dredging (USA)

In an effort to keep the Jupiter Inlet open and easily navigable, it requires occasional dredging to remove sand deposited by the tidal movements.

The mobile dredge, which picks up sand from the bottom, pumps it in a slurry through pipes placed on the beach.
