VIDEO: Atlantic City Beach Renourishment (USA)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is working on a beach renourishment project in Atlantic City, N.J.

Dredged sand is pumped onto the beach and moved into place with heavy equipment. The beach replenishment program is seen as vital to the economy of Atlantic City and other shore towns that rely on summer visitors to thrive.
