USA: Stone Har­bor Beach Recon­struc­tion Reaches Final Phase

The major recon­struc­tion of the Stone Har­bor beach­front ends with two blocks of work in Avalon on the south side of town.

On Sun­day morn­ing, July 28th, Nor­folk Dredg­ing announced that it has reached the Avalon bor­der and will be doing final beach work at 79th Street and 80th Street in Avalon for the bal­ance of the day.

All beaches are open; beach­go­ers who access the beach in the project area will be safely directed to another beach a block or two south or north of the project area.

This work is expected to be com­pleted by Mon­day after­noon, July 29th.

All other beaches are open.
