Israel: Officials Seek Bids for Ports of Haifa and Ashdod Dredging
Israel Ports Development & Assets Company Ltd will soon award the Ports of Haifa and Ashdod dredging contract.
The works will involve maintenance and capital dredging works in the Ports of Haifa and Ashdod, down to the design depths and below them, including Israeli Navy areas in Haifa, Ashdod and Kishon Port, and disposal of dredged materials.
The following works may also be included:
– Optional sand by-passing by dredging areas south to Ashdod, and
– Optional sand by-passing by dredging areas north to Haifa.
The tender deadline is May 8, 2014.
