IHC Merwede Holds Naming Ceremony for Dredger ITALENI

The South African company Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) has named its 750m3 grab hopper dredger, ITALENI, during a special ceremony hosted by the shipbuilder IHC Merwede. 

 

Maldives: Hulhumalé Land Reclamation Contract Awarded

A US$50 million contract for dredging and reclamation work in Hulhumalé has been awarded to Belgian company Dredging International NV, according to the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

 

Van Oord Bags Port of Koper Dredging Contract (Slovenia)

Luka Koper and the Netherlands-based company Van Oord have concluded the contract on deepening the access channel and northern section of Basin I within the Port of Koper harbour area.

Pon Power, the Dutch Caterpillar® dealer, and Bolier, the MaK dealer for the Benelux, have recently signed a three year contract with Van Oord, the world’s leading dredging, hydraulics and offshore projects contractor.
