USA: Kalama Port Closes Bids for TEMCO Maintenance Dredging

The Port of Kalama has received two bids on the TEMCO Maintenance Dredging Project.
The apparent low bidder is HME Construction with a bid of $732,000.000 plus sales tax.
The bids will be presented to the Port of Kalama Board of Commissioners at the next commission meeting on August 13, 2014.
Scope of Work
Maintenance dredging will include removal of approximately 60,000 cubic yards of dredged materials by either a hydraulic or mechanical dredge to depths between 43 feet and 48 feet relative to Columbia River Datum (CRD) as directed by the Port, with placement of dredged material into two in-water disposal sites.
On-site construction will commence on September 2, 2014. All in-water work must be completed prior to September 30, 2014.
