Sediment and Erosion Control Talk in Dubbo
Dubbo City Council, in association with Central West Local Land Services, is organizing a meeting on the importance, benefits, tools and resources available to assist organisations to adopt best practice sediment and erosion controls.
Dubbo City Council’s Manager of Environmental Control Debbie Archer said that the one and a half hour presentation will feature information on the importance of sediment and erosion control as well as advice on legal responsibilities and control planning.
“The benefits of attending the talk include reducing the risk of fines, improving wet-weather working conditions, reducing downtime and avoiding completion delays, fewer public complaints,” Ms Archer said.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, 6 May, in the Central Conference Room of Dubbo City Council, Church Street, Dubbo.
