Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC), a manufacturer of medium speed diesel engines, has announced the sale of two 16VDZD dual fuel engines (MDO/LNG), that will power DEME’s new generation trailing suction hopper dredger.

Van Oord has named a new cutter suction dredger at the yard of Damen Dredging Equipment in Nijkerk, the Netherlands.

 

USACE and SCPA Sign Design Agreement for Post 45

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District, last night signed the design agreement with the South Carolina Ports Authority, officially kicking off the Pre-construction Engineering and Design (PED) Phase of the Charleston Harbor Post-45 Deepening Project.

 

Long Beach Island Beachfill Continues

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, and its contractor Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company continue with the beachfill construction project on Long Beach Island, NJ.
