All Set for Egypt Ports and Waterways Summit 2016
Following the success of the inaugural Egypt Ports and Waterways Summit in 2015, IQPC has announced that the second edition of the event will take place in September.
With the New Suez Canal project completed, the focus in the country has shifted to the next stage of the economic plan; the Suez Canal area development plan (SCZone) and the development of Egypt’s ports and transport infrastructure.
In order to keep up with the increased volumes of shipping and industry, the country’s ports are fast developing, as the country seeks to establish itself as a leading transshipment and value-added services hub.
The 2nd Annual Egypt Ports and Waterways Summit 2016, taking place from 20-21 September at the InterContinental Citystars Cairo, will gather key stakeholders from port and hinterland projects in order to discuss the future of maritime transport and trade.
