UAE’s National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) has won a $316 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a LNG terminal in India.

According to the Emirates News Agency, NMDC last week presented plan for the construction of the terminal at Jafrabad in the Indian state of Gujarat.

The presentation was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs as well as a number of other officials.

At the presentation, Chairman of the National Marine Dredging Company, Mohamed Thani Murshed Al Rumaithi, gave a brief overview of the project.
