Important milestone for Kribi Port Project

The navigation channel of the Cameroon’s Kribi Deepwater Port Phase II Project successfully passed acceptance testing and was put into use on May 2.

The 1,015-m channel has a depth of 15 meters, width of 200 meters, and a 600-meter diameter turning basin.

According to China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), the channel’s operation will further facilitate the efficient navigation of vessels at the port.

Also, it lays a solid foundation for subsequent construction, marking a new stage in the construction of the project.
