Keppel’s Safety Plus Programme wins award

The International Association of Dredging Companies yesterday presented the safety award to Keppel FELS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine, for their Safety Plus Programme and National WSH Vision 2028.

The award was virtually handed over during the IADC Annual General Meeting by René Kolman, the secretary general of IADC and IADC President Frank Verhoeven to Mr Tan Leong Peng – Managing Director at Keppel FELS.

“Our Safety Awards are designed to encourage the development of safety skills in the workplace and to reward people and companies who demonstrate a commitment to safety awareness in the course of their profession. The awards, presented each year, recognise the exceptional safety performance demonstrated by a particular project, programme, procedure, product, vessel, team or employee(s),” said René Kolman, Secretary General of IADC.
