The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) will this Friday, March 10, present their next webinar focusing on the “2022 Environmental Excellence Awards Winners”.

Each year, at its annual Environmental Summit and Exposition, WEDA presents three Environmental Excellence Awards to outstanding projects.

Summaries of the three 2022 award-winning projects will be presented during the webinar, which is taking place on Friday, March 10, at 2:00 PM EST.

For the award category of Navigation Dredging, Kimbrie Gobbi of WSP Environment & Infrastructure Solutions will be the presenter. The project title: U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard Project at Ballast Point, San Diego, California.

For the Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change award category, Derek Salazar of Mott McDonald will be the presenter. The project title: Cedar Bayou and Vinson Slough Reopening Project Aransas County, Texas.

For the award category of Environmental Dredging, Gerald Songy of Moffatt & Nichol will be the presenter. The project title: Lightning Point Shoreline Restoration Project in Bayou La Batre and Mississippi Sound, Alabama.
