According to HID Dredger, the CSD will be used to dredge hard soils, coral reefs, rocks and sand.

The dredger is equipped with two robust pumps located in the engine room and the ladder, reaching 22-25m dredging depth efficiently, the Chinese company said.

CSDs are power-houses that are capable of handling the toughest conditions below the water line.

They can carve through rock, cut through tough clays and move the coarser sand and gravel.
