According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, the dredging operations will take place in the vicinity of Gul Basin and West Jurong Channel.

Dredging work is set to be carried out by a grab dredger, held in position by four anchors, and the dredged material will be loaded onto the hopper barges.

Also, a pusher tugboat will push the loaded hopper barge to the designated dumping ground to dispose the dredged materials.

A circular safe working area of 70 meters radius centered from the dredger will be maintained during the working hours, said the Authortiy.
