According to USACE, these will be two sessions from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

The event serves as a platform for the public to give feedback in dredging activities within the Port of New York and New Jersey, said USACE.

The Interim DMMP Update is designed to effectively manage dredged material from various sources, including Federal Navigation Channels, Department of the Army permitted projects, and Federal Harbor deepening.

This plan covers the critical five-year period between 2025 and 2029, with a focus on addressing dredged material placement needs up to the anticipated completion of the Historic Area Remediation Site (HARS) remediation in the New York Bight.
