Australia: Swansea Channel Dredging to Last Three Weeks

Swansea Channel dredging started today. The undertaking will be conducted by Sandpiper Dredging on behalf of the NSW Department of Primary Industries.

The dredging is expected to last for three weeks and it will be accompanied by the activities that are to be carried out seven days a week. The removed sand will be placed within the channel.

Black Neds Bay dredging, which involves beach nourishment at Salts Bay, is planned for the new year.
