Australia: New Dredger to Arrive at Mooloolah River Mouth

State MP Fiona Simpson has welcomed news that a heavier duty barge is to be deployed to Mooloolah River mouth to help address the dangerous sand build up.

MSQ have confirmed the dredge to arrive on April 13 subject to weather conditions.

“It is needed urgently as the current dredge had been unable to handle the current rough conditions. That’s the first priority but I will also keep pursuing a better long term solution,” stated Simpson.
