Thailand: BMA Prepares for Potential Floods

Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra said that the flood prevention work is underway.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s anti-flood program includes dredging of the city’s canals and building of the floodwalls.

According to coconutsbangkok.com, the governor said that the canals dredging in 18 flood prone districts was 97% done and is expected to be finished this month.
