Canada: Thames River Cleanup Plan Moves Forward

The cleanup project at the mouth of the Thames River may soon get underway.

According to Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain, these plans are moving forward nicely.

”We have bids from three contractors to go in there and remove the dead heads and the larger trees floating in the water to make it at least safe for boaters. The second phase of this plan will be working on long term dredging,” he stated.
