Great Results for Hudson River Dredging 2012

The third year of the Hudson River dredging project ends for the season in the next few days.

Mark Behan, GE’s spokesman, said: “It has been a productive year, but it’s tempting to underestimate the logistical complexity of the project.”

According to troyrecord.com, the workers are expected to have removed around 649,000 cubic yards of PCB-contaminated sediment from the Hudson River during this season.

This capital cleanup project is on track to be completed by fall 2016 or even earlier.
