CEDA Annual Report 2014 Published

Central Dredging Association – CEDA, an established authority and the leading independent forum for the professional dredging community, has just published its 2014 Annual Report.

“In 2014 we consolidated much of the work started in 2013 and we set out some ambitious plans for the future in the CEDA Strategy and Action Plan. The 2014 CEDA Annual Report details our work over the previous year and highlights work related to the new initiatives going forward,” they stated.

Some notable achievements from the year include:

– Organizing a wide range of successful meetings, site visits and other activities of the national sections;

– Laying the foundation for the next flagship conference and exhibition, CEDA Dredging Days 2015;

– Redesigning and launching the CEDA website;

– Successfully engaging students and young professionals in the industry in initiatives, led by Young CEDA, which included four meetings in four different countries.

CEDA is part of the World Organisation of Dredging Associations (WODA) and is responsible for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. CEDA’s two sister associations, WEDA (Western Dredging Association) and EADA (Eastern Dredging Association), serve the Americas, and Asia, Australia and the Pacific region respectively.
