Guangzhou Nets Zhuhai Port Dredging Contract
Guangzhou Dredging, part of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), and the Government of Zhuhai Gaolan Economic Zone (GPEZ) have signed a contract for the Phase 1 of the Huangmaohai Channel development work in Zhuhai Port.
According to the official statement, the project also includes the channel maintenance operations in the port’s Gaolan Zone.
Under this capital 10 year project, worth $354 million, Huangmaohai channel will be widened and deepened, with a total dredging volume of more than 10 million cubic meters.
Guangzhou Dredging said in its announcement that this project will improve the existing navigation conditions, upgrade channels, and promote the development of the harbor industry and the local economy.
