Hanimaadhoo work progresses according to schedule

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) has just released the latest update on their Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Harbour development program.

According to MTCC, the rock boulders required for the construction of a groyne were successfully delivered to the project site earlier this week.

The Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Harbour project includes:

• new harbor basin dredging of 53,522.50cbm;

• harbor entrance channel dredging of 31,575.50cbm;

• construction of a 355m breakwater;

• a 50m revetment;

• a 270m quay wall and installation of 2,583sqm of paved area.

The value of the project is MVR 57.1 million ($3.7 million).
