Keynote speakers announced for WEDA’s Dredging Summit

The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) has confirmed the keynote speakers for the upcoming Dredging Summit & Expo ’22 in Houston this July.

Col. Rhett A. Blackmon will take command of the Galveston District in July and address WEDA members during the opening plenary on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 8:45 am.

In addition, Rich Brynes, the Chief Infrastructure Officer from the Port of Houston, will provide a keynote presentation at the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 12:50 pm.

The conference will be held at the spectacular Marriott Marquis Hotel in downtown Houston, Texas, from July 25-28, 2022.

This year’s Expo will be the largest WEDA ever and the most beneficial and highly attended dredging conference in the entire Western Hemisphere.

The event will begin with the meeting on Monday, July 25th with four (4) continuing educational short courses (details below) followed by a welcome reception on the 2nd floor of the Marriott Marquis.
