A third offer submitted by DTA Engenharia was disqualified for not presenting the minimum guarantees. The next stage will involve technical and operational evaluations.

According to a press release from the Argentinian Economy Ministry, the 25-year concession covers a section between the so-called Confluencia point and the Punta Indio canal, where the Plata river flows into the Atlantic.

The Ministry said that approximately 80% of Argentina’s exports, especially grains and byproducts, travel along this waterway, making it a key factor in the competitiveness of the agricultural sector.
