TSHD Sand Falcon leaves dry dock at UK Docks Teesside

Just over a week ago, the Cemex-owned trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Sand Falcon left dry dock at UK Docks Marine Services Teesside after completing a three-week program.

Works included preparation and painting, tank cleaning, cooler repairs, rudder works, dredge pipework repairs and replacements and side shell repairs.

The dredger is an impressive ship, over 120 meters in length, with a 19.5 meter beam and a gross tonnage of 6,534 tons.
