USACE Proposes San Diego Harbor Maintenance Dredging (USA)

USACE announces invitation for bids, for maintenance dredging of  San Diego Harbor and Ballast Point.

Project consists of dredging the approach channel of San Diego Harbor to a depth of -55 ft. MMLW, approximately 100,000 cubic yards. Option item to dredge approximately 27,000 cubic yards from the Ballast Point Coast Guard Station, design dept of -30 ft. All dredge material will be placed in the nearshore at Imperial Beach. The estimated cost range of work is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.

Contracting activity is USACE District, Los Angeles department.
