India: GMG Completes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 at Kargwal Construction for Murmugao Port

Global Manager Group has successfully implemented ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 as an Integrated Management System and successfully completed certification for Kargwal Construction for their Murmugao Port Trust site at Goa. M/S Kargwal Construction pvt ltd. is engaged in development of infrastructure. The main activities at this site are development of port (for cargo and passenger ships), residential and commercial complexes, bungalows, pipe laying etc.

The infrastructure work at Murmugao Port Trust, Goa includes development of breakwater, jetty at berth No. 4 and 8 includes pilings etc. Total 333 frillings needs to be developed to complete infrastructure operation. Company has already completed development and construction work for more than 50 % of piles including 100% completion of Berth no. 8. Massive works were involved in this development, which we have successfully completed within span of six months. The team of auditors have spent 2 days exhaustive system audits with interview of many workers, staff and supervisory and management team and finally they had been recommended for IMS system9 ISO 9001,ISo 14001 and OHSAS 18001) by ISOQAR,UK( UKAS accredited certifying body.
