USA: Dredging on Onondaga Lake About to Begin

According to ynn.com, one of the final stages in the effort to clean-up Onondaga Lake is set to begin.

When the project does start, 185 acres of the lake are expected to be dredged, and another 417 acres will be capped with clean sediment. That’s about 20 percent of the lake.

Ynn.com reports that this dredging project is part of a more than $400 million project to restore Onondaga Lake to its original state.
