USCG Station Georgetown Boat Basin Requries Dredging

The USCG Station Georgetown dredging program will be undertaken in the following months.

This cleanup scheme, located at 355 Marina drive, Georgetown, South Carolina, will involve:

– dredging of the boat basin and access channel to a designed depth;

– pre- and post-dredge hydrographic survey;

– transport of the dredge sediment by submerged hydraulic pipeline to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Sediment Placement Facility.

The estimated cost of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000, and performance period will be 90 days.
